Placard designs
Giving a voice
As part of my politcal campaigning, both in King's Lynn and for H:MC21, I designed a number of placards. A selection are shown here.
Some of the homeopathy placards were for a lobby of Parliament in 2010, and others for a protest outside the ASA in 2013.
Several were for protests against the Bedroom Tax, including the Sandringham Sleepover event which took place outside the Queen's local palace.
When King's Lynn Queen Elizabeth Hospital came under threat, I designed placards for protests against this. The slogans were based on the fact that the alternative hospital provision for heart attacks (for example) was going to be 40 miles away.
I also wrote a series of scripts for street theatre performances which took place at a protest outside a Care Commissioning Group meeting.
